Beeswax is a mixture vegetable waxes, pollen and natural substances secreted by bees. Solid at room temerature, it melts at 63°C. It protects and softens the skin and is used to thicken salves,balms, lipsticks and cold creams. Naturally yellow in colour, it has a slight honey smell.
